Supporting Malvern St James Families

We are sorry to hear the news regarding Malvern St James School and recognise how difficult and unsettling this will be for its community.

The King’s Worcester Foundation wishes to offer a supportive and practical conversation to MSJ families who may be considering their next steps for September. Where appropriate, we would be happy to discuss potential places across our schools and to answer any questions.

Contact us confidentially to arrange a conversation.

ESAA Track and Field Cup Success

On Tuesday 22nd June we took our Junior Girl, Junior Boy, Inter Girl and Inter Boy teams to compete in the English Schools Athletics Association (ESAA) Track and Field Cup. This is a unique event where every member of the team has to compete in both one track event and one field event, which adds an extra dimension to the competition, particularly when it comes to the relays.

Everyone gave their best, with several pupils achieving personal bests, which is fantastic to see. A special mention to the following pupils who achieved over 18 points in an event: Junior Girls– Anna C, Frankie B, Ella P, Phoebe M, Lucy T. Junior Boys– Dan A, Ben G, Will D. Inter Girls – Phoebe R, Maisie L, Lucy W, Lottie K, Millie D. Inter Boys – Ollie T, Harry P, Oli P, Zach M, Oli H, Oli R, Will M.

The final placings at the ESAA Track and Field Cup were: Junior Girls 2nd, Junior Boys 3rd, Inter Girls 4th and Inter Boys 2nd.

“The ESAA is a fantastic competition, which allows the athletes to compete as part of a team. It really was great to see the progress they have made throughout the season and the willingness of pupils to step up and try a new event to gain points for the team,” Lora Miller-Symonds, Director of Athletics.
