King’s Hosts Third Annual Careers Extravaganza

King’s Worcester is thrilled to announce its third annual Careers Extravaganza, set to take place during National Careers Week 2025. This prestigious event is open to both King’s School pupils and those from the wider Worcestershire community, making it a cornerstone of the region’s career development initiatives.

The Careers Extravaganza, which has garnered significant interest from the local business community, will span two afternoons and aims to broaden pupils’ perspectives on a variety of career options and pathways. The event will feature numerous businesses and professionals, all convening at the school’s historic College Hall.

The event schedule is as follows:

Careers in STEM – Monday, 3rd March

The first afternoon will focus on careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Further information about each exhibitor and tickets can be found here.

The keynote speaker for this session is OV James Smalley, a Mechanical Engineer for Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains.

The session will commence at 3:30 PM and conclude at 5:00 PM.

Careers in Business & Creative Industries – Tuesday, 4th March

The second afternoon will highlight opportunities in Business and Creative Industries. Further information about each exhibitor and tickets can be found here.

The keynote address will be delivered by OV Cameron Walker, Royal Correspondent for GB News and a renowned Broadcast Journalist.

This session will also start at 3:30 PM and end at 5:00 PM.

How to book?

The event is open to all Worcestershire pupils (and their parents or guardians) from Year 6 and upwards. While tickets are free of charge, advance booking is essential to ensure a smooth experience and accommodate any dietary requirements.
