Supporting Malvern St James Families

We are sorry to hear the news regarding Malvern St James School and recognise how difficult and unsettling this will be for its community.

The King’s Worcester Foundation wishes to offer a supportive and practical conversation to MSJ families who may be considering their next steps for September. Where appropriate, we would be happy to discuss potential places across our schools and to answer any questions.

Contact us confidentially to arrange a conversation.

King’s Rowers Take Part in Worcester Head of the River

Over the weekend our rowers faced very challenging conditions with a fast flow on the river and a very strong headwind at this years Worcester Head of the River event. In spite of this, our crews did a magnificent job and closed out a fantastic half term of rowing from the Boat Club.

Our Sixth Form Boys’ Quad of Ned M, Luke B, Matthew D and Jack B were victorious in the morning division in the J18 Quad Scull event. James S joined them in the afternoon, where they only missed out on winning the Senior Men’s Quad by half a second.

Our Sixth Form Girls lacked competition in their WJ18 8+, but benefited from rowing over the course and combined with the Fifth Form Girls in the afternoon, sharing their experiences of head racing.

Worcester Head 2

It was a fantastic experience for our rapidly developing Upper Remove rowers, who are growing in confidence at every outing and proving to be extremely competitive.

We enjoyed many terrific performances over the course of the day and the spectators were thoroughly entertained by the crews racing by.
