Despite the disruption to the tennis season, Jack in L4 has just received the excellent news that he is now ranked 46th in the recently updated LTA national 12&U rankings. Jack also has retained his spot as the number one 12&U boy in Hereford and Worcestershire County. He has enjoyed playing for the Midlands in tournaments against teams from Scotland and Wales.
Jack plays and trains at Pershore Tennis Centre and is now coached by Jazzamay Drew, a former WTA professional. In addition to his club training, Jack is also a member of the 14&U County squad who train weekly.
Being in the top 50 is an incredible achievement and is no doubt down to Jack’s dedication and passion for the sport. He trains regularly throughout the winter and summer and is delighted to be back on court now.
Jack started playing Tennis when he was six years old and said, “I loved Tennis from the first moment I stepped on the court. I am inspired by my favourite player, Rafael Nadal, as he is also a lefty, but I need to work on my muscles to be like him!”
Well done Jack on this fantastic news and we look forward to hearing how he gets on when Tennis competitions resume!
