Supporting Malvern St James Families

We are sorry to hear the news regarding Malvern St James School and recognise how difficult and unsettling this will be for its community.

The King’s Worcester Foundation wishes to offer a supportive and practical conversation to MSJ families who may be considering their next steps for September. Where appropriate, we would be happy to discuss potential places across our schools and to answer any questions.

Contact us confidentially to arrange a conversation.

King’s Rowers Selected to Represent the West Midlands

Nine King’s rowers are to represent the West Midlands at the Junior Inter-Regional Regatta in April.

On Sunday 3rd March, members of the Boat Club were due to compete at the West Midlands Junior Rowing Championships at Stourport. The river conditions forced the cancellation of that event; fortunately we were able to take part in the trials for selection to the West Midlands Team, which are normally incorporated into that event, at Hereford on the River Wye instead.

Our rowers performed well in all events against the top performers from the region. Our Fifth Form (Y11) Boys’ Quad Scull of Toby A, Luke M, Bentley L and Charlie M-W, won their event, while Freddie G (Upper Remove/Y10) placed second in his Single Scull.

These boys, along with a Coxless Four drawn from our Fifth Form Girls, will represent King’s and the West Midlands at The Junior Inter-Regional Regatta to be held on April 20th, where teams from all the regions of England and Scotland will race.
