Young Enterprise Team Commended for Innovative Approach
King’s Young Enterprise team of Lower Sixth students delivered a stellar performance at Worcester’s Trade Fair on Saturday, showcasing their innovative idea to repurpose screen time for young people.
Their creative concept, which aims to make screen time more educational and engaging, not only captured significant attention but also received a ‘Highly Commended’ award for their display.
The team successfully sold over £160 worth of goods, demonstrating both the viability and appeal of their products. The initiative to enhance the educational aspect of screen time proved to be a hit, resonating with attendees and judges alike.
The Young Enterprise team will now attend the local finals, where they will be required to present a detailed report and a presentation to the judges. The journey ahead promises to be challenging yet exciting as they prepare to bring their innovative vision to a wider audience.
Young Enterprise’s achievements at the Trade Fair highlight their potential to make a meaningful impact on the way young people interact with technology, alongside learning valuable skills themselves in terms of creating a website and a product, running a business, interacting with the public and enhancing their selling skills.
