Supporting Malvern St James Families

We are sorry to hear the news regarding Malvern St James School and recognise how difficult and unsettling this will be for its community.

The King’s Worcester Foundation wishes to offer a supportive and practical conversation to MSJ families who may be considering their next steps for September. Where appropriate, we would be happy to discuss potential places across our schools and to answer any questions.

Contact us confidentially to arrange a conversation.

Outstanding Results in Music Exams for Talented Pupils

Last term saw thirty pupils achieve success in their exams for the Associated Board and London College of Music. Ten pupils took ABRSM instrumental exams while the others took London College of Music examinations in musical theatre and pop music vocals.

The results at Grades 3 – 8 were outstanding, with 9 merits and 14 distinctions, further cementing King’s excellent reputation for music.

Music exams – notable achievements:

Fifth Formers Sam P and Tigo M achieved 95% for their Grade 6 and 7 respectively in Popular Music Vocals.

Zara W from KSA gained a 92% distinction at Grade 6 in Musical Theatre for Singers.

Bella C, Lower Sixth, received a mark of 93% at Grade 7 for her Musical Theatre for Actors examination, achieving 40/40 for her stunning rendition of Tell Me It’s Not True from the musical Blood Brothers.

Congratulations to all performers and well done for your hard work and dedication. Practice really does pay off!
