Art Pupils Find Inspiration High Above Worcester
Our Lower Fourth Art pupils enjoyed a visit to Worcester Cathedral on Tuesday, including a climb to the top of the Cathedral Tower, as part of their current art project focused on Worcester Cathedral.
Mr Haywood’s class made the ascent, where they were rewarded with spectacular views across Worcester including the school’s sprawling playing fields next to the River Severn.
Along the way, pupils learned more about the rich history of both the Cathedral and the city itself, bringing their classroom studies to life.
The visit provided valuable inspiration for their artwork, which will be exhibited this July in the Dean’s Chapel at Worcester Cathedral.
