New Heads of School Ready to Lead at King’s
King’s Worcester is delighted to announce the appointment of Ava T and Theo S as Heads of School for the 2026-27 academic year, supported by Deputy Heads of School, Hebe S and Sam P.
These students have already made an outstanding contribution to school life, demonstrating commitment, enthusiasm and a genuine desire to support others. As they step into their new roles, they are looking forward to representing the pupil body, strengthening the sense of community across the School, helping every pupil feel encouraged to make the most of their time at King’s.
Ava joined King’s St Alban’s in Year 4 before continuing her journey through the King’s Foundation. She is currently studying A-levels in Chemistry, Biology and Psychology, alongside an EPQ, and hopes to study Medicine at university after leaving school.
An active and dedicated member of the King’s community, Ava has taken part in rowing and netball, having played netball since joining the school. She has also participated in Mandarin Club and volunteers weekly at The Lawns Care Home in Kempsey.
Ava’s dedication to pursuing Medicine has been supported by a range of valuable work experience opportunities. These include shadowing doctors on the paediatric cardiology ward at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, spending time at a doctors’ surgery in Gloucester, and completing a six-month virtual work experience course.
Speaking about her hopes for the year ahead, Ava said: “During my time as Head of School, I would like to promote an inclusive environment which motivates pupils to reach their potential.”
Theo joined King’s in Lower Fourth in 2020 and is currently studying A-levels in History, Politics, Maths and Further Maths. He hopes to go on to study History at university.
Throughout his time at King’s, Theo has thrown himself into a wide range of activities. He has been a member of the school’s 1st XI football team since Fifth Form and also plays football outside school. Alongside sport, Theo has been a regular member of Quiz Club throughout senior school, representing King’s at both national cup and plate finals. He is also involved in Debating Club.
Reflecting on his appointment, Theo said: “As Head of School, I want to give back to the school that has helped me thrive and bring the School and all its pupils closer together.”
