A Warm Welcome to Mr Potts, Senior Deputy Head
This week, we warmly welcomed Mr David Potts to the King’s community as Senior Deputy Head of the Senior School.
He has spent the week meeting pupils and staff as well as observing some of the academic learning and co-curricular activity taking place in the Senior School.
Mr Potts commented: “I am delighted to be here and incredibly proud to become a member of the King’s Worcester Foundation. I am looking forward to fully embracing the wider life of the school and understanding the rich experience of its pupils as they journey from Pre-Prep to the Sixth Form. Thank you to everyone who has extended such a warm welcome so far.”
Mr Potts brings a wealth of experience to King’s with a variety of leadership roles in the UK state sector as well as in a number of leading independent schools in the Middle and Far East. Since returning to the UK, he has been working for the TES Institute and on behalf of the Department for Education, leading a global programme management team delivering Initial Teacher Training and professional learning.
Mr Potts’ breadth of experience means he has a great deal to offer the Foundation, and we are delighted he has joined us at this important point in our development.
