CCF Cadets Win Prestigious Leadership Competition
On Sunday, RAF Cosford played host to the Wales & West Region Air Cadets’ regional activity day, bringing together teams from across the region for one of the most competitive events of the year.
The event saw six ATC (Air Training Corps) wings from different schools, and one CCF (Combined Cadet Force) team from King’s compete across a series of challenging activities designed to test skill, teamwork, and leadership. The ATC teams were carefully selected from hundreds of squadrons across the region, representing thousands of cadets – making the competition especially fierce.
The 14-strong CCF team from King’s, theoretically representing all CCF cadets in the Wales & West Region, faced stiff competition from much larger ATC wings. Despite this, their determination and skill shone through, culminating in an outstanding victory in the leadership activity.
The day featured a variety of exercises aimed at testing cadets’ leadership, decision-making, and teamwork under pressure. The win was a testament not only to the cadets’ talent but also to their hard work and preparation.
This success marks a proud moment for King’s School CCF and highlights the exceptional calibre of our cadets.
