Rugby teams representing the U12s through to the U16s attended the annual Warwick Sevens on Saturday 10th February. It is one of the best tournaments in the country, featuring top rugby schools including Millfield, Sedbergh and Wellington College. In what were dreadful conditions the King’s teams had a very successful day. Pride of place goes to the U12s, who were unbeaten all day, thus winning their competition. The U13s won the shield, with the U14s and U15s both winning the plate; the U16s lost in the quarter-finals of the cup. It was an excellent start to the sevens season, with all teams performing well at one of the hardest tournaments of the season.
