Supporting Malvern St James Families

We are sorry to hear the news regarding Malvern St James School and recognise how difficult and unsettling this will be for its community.

The King’s Worcester Foundation wishes to offer a supportive and practical conversation to MSJ families who may be considering their next steps for September. Where appropriate, we would be happy to discuss potential places across our schools and to answer any questions.

Contact us confidentially to arrange a conversation.

King’s Athletes Impress at District Championships

King’s athletes from Year 7 & 8 took part in the District Championships on 11th June at Nunnery Wood Athletics Track. The school took a strong team, with every event having two competitors.

In the track events, King’s finished with an athlete in the top three in 11 of the 12 events, having both competitors in the top three positions for many.

King’s performed equally well in the field events, with top three finishes in 10 of the 11 events.

These fantastic results showcase the incredible depth of our current King’s athletes.

Those finishing in the top two in their event will no go on to compete in the Minor County Championships later this month, meaning we will have 18 athletes competing in the next round – leaving King’s  the biggest team in the District, an excellent achievement.

It has been a super season for Lower Years athletics, with over 50 pupils competing in a friendly fixture against Bromsgrove School last Friday and three school records being broken: Freddie P (U4) in the 1500m, Elsie S (U4) in the Javelin and Helena C (L4) in the 1500m.
