Supporting Malvern St James Families

We are sorry to hear the news regarding Malvern St James School and recognise how difficult and unsettling this will be for its community.

The King’s Worcester Foundation wishes to offer a supportive and practical conversation to MSJ families who may be considering their next steps for September. Where appropriate, we would be happy to discuss potential places across our schools and to answer any questions.

Contact us confidentially to arrange a conversation.

King’s Students Selected for National Academy League Squads

We are very proud of our four 1st XV players, who have been selected to represent King’s in the U17s and U18s National Academy League squads.

Will M (U6) at 10 and Henry H (L6) at 6 have played for the U18s, with Will D (L6) at 2 and Charlie M (U6) at 1 representing the U17s team. They have all been selected to play in every game so far this season.

The U18s National Academy League started two weeks ago and sees the remaining 11 academies play games across two divisions with the goal of becoming academy champions. Alongside this league, U17s teams play each other in preparation for next season.

Their recent games against Harlequins and Saracens were both challenging and saw all four students play extremely well. They are now looking forward to this weekend’s fixtures against Bristol Bears.

With the collapse of Worcester Warriors, Wasps and then the Midlands West and Midlands Central academies, it has been a challenging time for our academy players across the age groups.

With strong representation of King’s players across the U15s, U16s, U17s and U18s the players have found themselves having to prove themselves in a new system that has essentially seen three National academies fold into one.

This has made the achievements of our senior players all the more impressive and is testament to the resilience and dedication they have shown.
