Pupils Celebrate a Glittering Night at the KAFTAs

Pupils enjoyed a night of glitz and glamour at this year’s KAFTAs. With winners, Karaoke and some heartfelt goodbye speeches, the night had it all (even a surprise performance)!

Everyone arrived dressed to the nines on a very sunny red carpet and greeted by the ‘paparazzi’ (Joseph R) for some fabulous photos. After a lovely three course meal the prize giving commenced.

After all the awards and many photos, the students gathered for some karaoke of theatres most iconic songs Mamma Mia, Summer Nights and even some Hamilton. We were also blessed with a performance by the ‘Farndale…Macbeth’ cast who gave us a performance of Black Magic with some great dance moves including the worm!

It was a joyous night of celebrating the arts and all the hard work that the pupils have put in over the year. It was a lovely way to end the year for the departing head of department, Shara Parry, whose impact on the department has been immeasurable and will be sorely missed.
