Science Week Inspires Curiosity at King’s
National Science Week has been celebrated at King’s this week with the theme ‘Be Curious’.
In a series of fun and educational lunch time activities, pupils have been observing our biology specimens, dissecting rats, turning copper in to brass and investigating how information can be stored on magnetic strips!
There has been a tutor quiz and the launch of our Be Curious…Science reading list, with a selection of books that students can borrow from the library and read around the subject further.
Science Week is an annual celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths, encouraging a series of entertaining and engaging events and activities that spark curiosity on a range of different science topics.
We hope everyone keeps being curious as science is truly everywhere!
