Senior Rowers Perform Well in Tough Conditions
Thirteen of our senior rowers competed at Henley on Thames in the Henley Sculls races on November 2nd.
The conditions were challenging, with a fierce headwind and further gusts combining with a strong current to ensure that every inch of the 3000 metre course was well earned.
The entire team performed extremely well among the tough competition with outstanding results from Rowan C (U6), Freddie B (L6), Bentley L (U6) and Oliver Y (L6) taking second place in the J18 Quad Scull
Henrietta V and Florence V (FF) placed third in the WJ16 Double Scull, with Florence also placing fifth in her single scull.
George Y and Ed C (FF) raced well to place sixth in their J16 Double Scull.
Congratulations to all our senior rowers on their impressive performances in extremely challenging weather.
