Study Sensei and Bush Craft at the Lower Sixth Induction

It was fantastic to welcome the Lower Sixth for their induction day last Tuesday. Mitchell, from Unifrog, launched the online platform that the students will use to research and apply for all post-school opportunities. This was a tremendously exciting way to think about Sixth Form in a wider context and really consider the areas about which our students are most passionate. Lunch with Houses enabled relationships with pastoral staff to be consolidated, before Jack from Elevate presented the excellent Study Sensei programme. This begins to equip Sixth Formers with the skills specific to the courses with greater depth that they now study.

On Friday, the year group engaged tremendously in a bush craft team building activity morning at the school fields. Activities included fire lighting, shelter building and water management, with a key emphasis on leadership, delegation and communication.
