U12 and U13 Netball Teams Shine in Sunny Saturday Fixtures Against Solihull
On a beautiful, sun-drenched Saturday at the Sports Fields, the U12 A and B netball teams took on Solihull School in their first competitive fixture of the season.
Under clear blue skies, the girls showcased excellent netball skills and displayed impressive versatility as they tried out different positions on the court. Their enthusiasm and adaptability were evident, with each player listening closely to coaching advice and implementing new strategies with confidence. The standout feature of the day was the exceptional teamwork, a testament to their dedication and hard work after just three netball sessions together at “Big King’s.”
Meanwhile, the U13A and U13B netball teams, featuring 24 U4 girls, also faced Solihull School on Saturday, 14th September. Both teams focused on driving towards the ball after executing preliminary moves to outmaneuver defenders. The U13A team worked hard to build connections in their play, while the U13B team showcased a variety of playing positions, giving everyone time to familiarize themselves with their teammates on the court. The matches were closely contested, with both teams putting in a solid effort until the final whistle, sharing equal possession and continuing to develop their teamwork and skills.
