Upper Sixth Celebrate Leavers’ Day
King’s Upper Sixth students celebrated their traditional King’s Leavers’ Day, taking part in a series of fun events and celebrations as they wore an array of wonderful costumes.
The students enjoyed breakfast in their Houses, watched videos from their teachers filled with heartfelt goodbyes and memories, and took part in a fun quiz.
Their day came to a close with a BBQ in the School Gardens with their friends, teachers and staff, where Head of Foundation, Mr Charles. made a final speech that wished them well for the future.
Leavers’ Day is a much anticipated but emotional moment for the Upper Sixth leavers, many of whom joined King’s at the start of King’s St Alban’s or King’s Hawford. But while their King’s journey is coming to an end, their OV future is just beginning.
We wish the Class of 2026 every success in the next chapter and look forward to officially celebrating their departure at King’s Day in July.
