King’s Netballers Take Part in Worcestershire School Games Netball Finals
On Tuesday 18th April, U12 and U14 netball teams from King’s took part in the Worcestershire School Games Netball Finals. This was part of a multisport festival, and we also had an U12 and U13 Indoor Athletics team who qualified to compete in the afternoon.
Both U12 and U14 netball squads put in strong performances, showing versatility from all throughout their matches. The girls really enjoyed being part of the festival, which had an exciting atmosphere, with lots of off-court activities for the players to enjoy with other schools from the county.
Each district from Worcestershire represented one of six core values that the festival represents: self-belief, passion, respect, teamwork, honesty and determination. It was fantastic to see young leaders umpiring the tournament and this has inspired some of our players to look into pursuing their own umpiring qualifications.
Well done girls on your enthusiasm and participation!
