Young Performers Dazzle Audiences in High School Musical Production
Congratulations to our wonderful young King’s performers, who recently starred in The Theatre Factory’s incredible production of High School Musical.
Edith D (LR), Zara W (L4), Jess Kelly (L4), Emily D (L4), Barnaby B (LR), Georgia P (LR) and Georgina N (LR) shone on stage in the intermediate group’s much-anticipated show.
The Disney Classic was brought to life by the talented cast, who had spent many months rehearsing and wowed the audience with their infectious songs and confident performances. It brought the Theatre Factory’s show season to a stunning close following productions of Finding Nemo and Legally Blonde earlier in the Autumn, also starring a number of King’s pupils.
As well as attending the Theatre Factory in their spare time, many of the pupils hone their craft through our school drama club, take LAMDA classes or star in our regular school productions.
At King’s, Drama is a vibrant and thriving part of school life, with a plethora of opportunities for young performers to take the stage. With a history of many pupils progressing to prestigious drama schools and professional careers in the industry, King’s Worcester Drama continues to inspire the next generation of theatre-makers.
Be sure to look out for our stage stars in our school productions later in the year!
