King’s Goes Pink for Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven

Pink was the colour of the day at King’s on Thursday, as the Sixth Form Charity Committee organised a fundraising and awareness day in aid of Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven.

Sixth Form students were invited to swap their usual school clothes for their own outfits, many featuring something pink, in return for a donation. A short break cake sale offered pupils across all year groups the chance to support the cause, with the pink cakes leading to plenty of excitement as well as extra money for the cause.

Alongside the fundraising activities, a breast awareness assembly led by Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven was arranged for the Sixth Form. Together, the initiatives combined support for Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven with an opportunity to raise awareness of breast health.
