Businesses Invited to Inspire the Next Generation at King’s Careers Extravaganza
Planning is already underway for the next King’s Careers Extravaganza, following last year’s event which saw record numbers of pupils attending from schools across the local area.
The annual event, which welcomed over fifty businesses in 2025, is scheduled to take place this February. King’s is inviting local businesses to play a key role in inspiring the next generation; showcasing their industry, sharing insights, and connecting with motivated pupils exploring future career paths.
Previous exhibitors have praised the event for its smooth organisation and strong engagement, as well as the large numbers of enthusiastic pupils who have attended.
Mark Smith from Lloyds Bank, who has exhibited for the last three years, said, “The questions and interest we had were superb – a great reflection on how the School is preparing your pupils for the world ahead.”
Ben Murphy from the Iguana Group agreed, commenting, “It was a fun afternoon. I was very impressed by all the children who popped by to chat, everyone was very polite.”
It is hoped next year’s event will be even bigger, with exhibitors sought from the following sectors:
Tuesday 3rd February 2026 – STEM
- Sciences
- Research
- Chemical Engineering
- Sports Scientist / Sports Therapist
Wednesday 4th February 2026 – Business & Creative Industries
- Marketing
- Graphic Design
- Construction
- Creative Industries
The event will run from 3.30 pm – 5.00pm, with set up from 2.30pm. If your organisation operates in any of these areas and would like to part of this event, please email us at careersfair@ksw.org.uk This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your expertise and inspire pupils considering their next steps.
