Excellent Results for King’s at Henley Sculls
Seventeen of our senior King’s rowers, ranging from Fifth Form to Upper Sixth, travelled to Henley on Thames to race in the annual Henley Sculls event.
The scullers were greeted with excellent conditions and took full advantage of the opportunity to race against the competition from the Thames Valley.
The results were excellent across the board, with particularly notable performances from single scullers in Band One events, with Florence V and Henrietta H both coming fifth in their respective WJ18 and WJ16 events and Imogen B in ninth place.
The double sculls provided great competition, with the girls’ combinations of Florence V and Issy W, and Henrietta V and Emily E placing fourth and fifth respectively.
The boys saw the same outcome in the morning, where Freddie G and Alex M, and Freddie B and Ollie Y placed fourth and fifth respectively. Our other doubles of Artur P-S and Lucas C, Henrietta H and Imogen B, Ed S and Max C all placed eleventh in their respective events.
Well done to all our rowers on a wonderful day of racing.
