King’s Announces Fourth Annual Careers Extravaganza

King’s Worcester is delighted to announce its fourth annual Careers Extravaganza, open to pupils from King’s as well as those from the wider Worcestershire community from Year 7 upwards.

The Careers Extravaganza, which will take place in the school’s historic College Hall at the start of February, will span two afternoons and aims to broaden perspectives on a variety of career pathways.

The event has previously attracted over 60 businesses with this year’s fair set to be bigger than ever following overwhelming interest.

The wide variety of exhibitors will include current and former pupils and parents from the King’s community who have gone on to have highly successful careers and award-winning businesses.

Tickets are free of charge, however, booking is essential to provide an understanding of numbers and dietary requirements.

Starting at 3.30pm each afternoon and running until 5.00pm, the event will throw a spotlight on:

Keynote speakers: GP Dr Vicki Hicks (Ombersley Medical Centre) and Lead Advanced Pharmacist Practitioner Jos Williams will share insights into their professional journeys and the realities of working in healthcare. Discover how their university experiences shaped their paths and led them to rewarding roles in medicine and pharmacy.
