King’s Footballers Enjoy Action Packed Training Camp at Manchester City

On 15th December nineteen footballers went to Manchester City for the football development pre-season tour for an action packed three days. Pupils from the Lower Remove and the senior squad trained in the state-of-the-art facilities which are home to the Manchester City first team and their elite academy teams. We had three quality training sessions with Manchester City coaches and played matches versus Manchester Health Academy. There was also time to go on a behind-the-scenes Etihad Stadium tour, visit the National Football Museum and watch Manchester City win 3-1 against Everton. Overall it was a fantastic trip and experience in preparation for what will, we hope, be a successful football season for all.
