Stunning Senior Production Receives Five Award Nominations

We are incredibly proud to announce that December’s senior production of Chicago has received five award nominations at this year’s National School Theatre Awards.

The production was described as “far more than a typical school production” in a glowing National School Theatre Awards review earlier this year.

Bella C and Flo S have both been nominated for Best Actress in a Musical award for their outstanding performances as Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart, while Henry F has received a nomination for Best Actor in a Musical. Amelia W is nominated for Best Supporting Actress — the very category she won at the 2025 awards — and Chicago itself has been nominated for Best Musical.

We are immensely proud of our pupils and staff for the dedication, talent, and hard work they poured into this production. It is wonderful to see their efforts recognised in this way, and anyone who saw the show will know just how richly deserved these nominations are.

Affectionately known as “the Oscars for schools”, the National School Theatre Awards take place in London on 22 June, and we wish all of our nominees the very best of luck.
