King’s Student Awarded Prestigious Army Scholarship
King’s Worcester Sixth Form student, James Dehmas, has received the exciting news that he has gained an Army Officer Scholarship.
The Scholarship is a prestigious award, offered only to a very small number of students nationwide each year, following a demanding and highly competitive selection process.
James was selected in recognition of his exceptional leadership potential, with the scholarship supporting him through Sixth Form, university, and ultimately his training at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, before progressing to a career as an Army Officer. This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to all his hard work and dedication.
James’ mother, Pennie Gould, said: “I would like thank the whole school team for the support and encouragement throughout this journey. We know that his success reflects not only his hard work and determination, but also the dedication and care shown by his teachers and the wider school community. The preparation, guidance, and confidence he received from school were invaluable in enabling him to succeed against such tough competition.”
