RAF Cadets Secure Place at National Competition
Fourteen RAF cadets from King’s recently travelled to RAF Cosford to compete in the Regional Air Squadron Trophy, taking part in a demanding series of events that tested their skills, teamwork and determination.
The competition included challenges in shooting, drill, first aid, cyber and space – areas the cadets have been training for over many months during their CCF sessions at school, as well as spending much of their own time to practice.
Their dedication paid off in outstanding fashion, with the team finishing first place in the first aid event and achieving an impressive second place overall in the regional competition.
This exceptional performance has secured the team an invitation to compete in the National Air Squadron Trophy in June, where they will compete against the best teams from across the country.
The cadets’ success reflects not only their hard work and commitment, but also their teamwork and professionalism throughout the competition. The King’s community congratulates the team on their achievement and wishes them every success as they prepare for the national stage.
We are incredibly proud of all the cadets involved and wish them every success in June.
