U14 Netball Team Secures Spot in Regional Finals for Third Consecutive Year

The U14A Netball team has once again proven their strength on the court, earning a place in the regional finals after an outstanding performance at the recent County Tournament. This achievement marks the third consecutive year the team has advanced to regionals, a testament to their skill, dedication, and teamwork.

The tournament began with an impressive display in the group stages. The U14A team claimed a 6-3 victory over Malvern College, followed by a decisive 10-1 win against Wolverley. They continued their strong form with an 11-4 win over North Bromsgrove, securing their spot in the semi-finals. There, they faced RGS Worcester in a competitive match that saw the U14A team emerge victorious, setting up a showdown in the finals.

In the final match, the team went head-to-head with Bromsgrove in a closely contested battle that extended into overtime. Despite their best efforts, the U14A team faced a narrow defeat in the final seconds, ending with a score of 10-14. While they placed second, their overall performance was strong enough to secure their advancement to the regional competition in January.

With the U14A team paving the way, attention now shifts to the school’s U16 and U19 teams, who are set to compete in their respective county tournaments next week. Both teams are aiming to secure their own places at regionals, hoping to build on the success of the U14A team and continue the school’s impressive run in netball. Best of luck to all teams as they work to qualify for the regional stage!
