U18B/C Netballers Secure Outstanding Win

The U18B/C team braved very cold conditions on Tuesday to record an outstanding win against Hanley Castle.

With a squad of 13, there was plenty of opportunity for rotation and for trialling different combinations across the court. The match also provided a valuable opportunity to practise centre pass attacking strategies that have been worked on in training.

Sophia T was named Player of the Match for her superb shooting and work in the circle, supported by excellent attacking play from team members throughout, while those in defensive positions impressed with their interceptions and ability to turn over Hanley Castle centre passes, allowing the team to build sustained scoring momentum.

Despite the cold, there was fantastic teamwork, energy and encouragement throughout, both on court and from those off, with constant movement and collective effort underpinning a dominant and well-controlled performance.
