A Thought Provoking trip to Warwick University for King’s Economics Students

Eleven Upper Sixth Economists went to Warwick University on Tuesday to listen to six informative, thought-provoking and, at times, controversial lectures, with topics ranging from behavioural economics and nudges to common economic misconceptions. The lectures were of very high quality and very good at linking the A Level syllabus to further careers, for example, reading into statistics about the UK labour market and trying to answer the question of low productivity and how to solve it. Whilst enjoying the lectures it also gave a great feel of what university life is like at Warwick.
