King’s Dancers Shine on Disney Dance Tour
Over the half term break, nearly 50 King’s dancers from Lower Fourth to Upper Sixth spent a magical three days at Disneyland Paris for the annual Disney Dance Tour.
The trip began with a fun filled journey to Paris, which included Mr Pearson’s ‘Quizneyland Dance Tour Quiz’ and an enthusiastic Disney sing-along on the coach.
The first full day in Paris kicked off with an incredible morning workshop with Disney dance professionals; an exclusive experience only available to groups performing at the park.
After many hours of hard work in rehearsals at school, the pupils headed to the Videopolis Stage in Discoveryland to get ready for their performance as part of the Disney Performing Arts Onstage programme.
Our King’s dancers performed a range of wonderful dances on the professional stage, in front of a large audience. Each of our pupils should be so proud of themselves as they performed beautifully, with great talent and confidence.
Beyond the performances, the trip was filled with Disney magic as the group explored the parks, watched dazzling parades, braved thrilling rides and met their favourite characters.
From start to finish, it was a truly unforgettable experience for all our dancers.
