England Rugby Camp Selection for Lower Sixth Student

King’s Lower Sixth student, Henry H, has been selected to be part of England U17 Men’s Rugby Development Camp, after England Head coach Jonathan Pendlebury and assistant coach Will Parkin confirmed a 57-player cohort earlier this week.

Henry, who is a blind side flanker, is currently part of the Gloucester U17 Academy, as well as representing King’s in the 1st XV.

Foundation Director of Sport and 1st XV coach, Jonny Mason, said: “Henry has had a great season for both King’s and Gloucester U17 Academy and this selection is very well deserved.”

Henry will travel to St George’s Park this coming Saturday, 8th March, for an intensive introduction to the expectations set for the U18 Men’s team. It will give him the opportunity to experience a new environment, train under pressure and consider the next steps in his skills development.

Many congratulations to Henry on this achievement, which is testament to his hard work and dedication.
