Fifth Form Pupils Inspired on Thought-Provoking PSHE Day

Our Fifth Form pupils took part in a thought-provoking PSHE Day on Friday, exploring important topics around mental health, relationships, identity, and decision-making.

King’s was delighted to welcome a number of expert guest speakers who led powerful and engaging sessions.

Augusta Samuel from It Happens delivered two insightful workshops-one focusing on relationships, and another on the teenage brain, decision-making, and staying safe at events.

Dick Moore spoke passionately about mental health in his talk ‘Coping with Storms’, encouraging pupils to seek support and speak openly about their wellbeing.

David Woolcott from Voicebox ran interactive workshops on modern masculinity, helping pupils reflect on gender expectations, challenge stereotypes, and promote respectful, inclusive relationships.

PSHE is a vital part of life at King’s, helping our pupils gain the knowledge, confidence, and skills to live safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives. It is central to all aspects of school life – its thinking, planning, teaching, and organisation – and as such has a positive influence on pupils’ learning and relationships throughout the whole school community.

A huge thank you to our guest speakers and staff for delivering such an inspiring and meaningful day of learning and reflection.
