First VII success at the Rosslyn Park National Sevens competition

For the second year in a row the First VII reached the quarter-finals at the Rosslyn Park National Sevens competition. On day one the squad played some excellent attacking rugby, scoring twenty tries across the five games. The defence was just as impressive, only conceding five tries all day. This determination was seen most notably against Wimbledon College in a very close game (19-10) and in a magnificent win against Tonbridge (31-5). Despite every effort from the squad they did not manage to reach the semi-finals on day two, but this in no way detracts from what has been an excellent sevens season.
