King’s Announced as Finalist for ‘Prepared for Life’ Award
King’s Worcester is celebrating after being named as a finalist in the Muddy Stilettos ‘Prepared for Life’ Award.
This recognition reflects the exciting and thoughtful developments we’ve made to our Sixth Form provision — aimed at helping students build the confidence, independence and practical skills they’ll need beyond school.
From the innovative KSW Electives Programme and an expanded Life Skills curriculum, to leadership opportunities, co-curricular activities and enriching trips, our students are encouraged to explore their interests, take initiative, and prepare meaningfully for whatever comes next.
The Electives and Life Skills programmes are designed to sit alongside students’ academic studies, to offer enrichment and challenge, widen horizons and prepare them for life beyond school.
Our students also benefit from an excellent careers service as well as many leadership opportunities and enrichment through a broad and varied range of trips, to complement their studies.
At Kings, we strive to ensure that our students stand out from the crowd in their university, apprenticeship and employment applications, as well as playing an active and positive role in wider society in their lives beyond school.
We’re proud of the well-rounded education we offer at King’s — and even more so of the capable, curious and resilient young people who leave us ready for the world beyond.
