King’s Cyclists Ride from Land’s End to John o’Groats for the Homeless

During the May half term members of the Lower Sixth, Tom and George Hale will be undertaking LEJOG (Land’s End to John O'Groats) in aid of charities for the homeless. This demanding challenge involves cycling over nine hundred miles in ten days (including a rest day in Penrith). Ben Hale, in Upper Remove (Year 10), will be travelling with them and he aims to do seventy-five miles a day. All three boys have put in some serious training and we wish them well. They want to raise money for two charities, the Maggs Day Centre in Worcester and the Single Homeless Project in London. Homelessness can have a tragic effect on so many young lives and the Hale boys hope that you can spare a thought for, and make a donation to, people who may not be as lucky as King's students. They have a Virgin Giving fundraising page and you can choose the charity to which to donate. Please click here if you would like to do so.
