King’s School Cadets Host Pakistani College Counterparts
On the 3rd of November the King’s School Combined Cadet Force hosted a troupe of pupils from the Pakistan Scouts Cadet College Batrasi.
The cadets were greeted with a ceremonial lunch with the CCF Officers and Senior Cadets. They were then shown around the school and neighbouring Worcester Cathedral, a particular highlight being the memorial chapel which displays various military flags dedicated to local and historical regiments.
King’s cadets and Pakistani cadets then joined for a special parade which was followed by the Pakistani cadets joining in with evening training, including weapons handling and field-craft. After meeting with the Headmaster and an exchange of gifts the Pakistani cadets departed King’s and will be keeping in contact.
