King’s Students Practise Law with Harrison Clark Rickerbys

Twenty-five students from the Fifth Form (Year 11), Lower Sixth and Upper Sixth were recently given a fantastic insight into a future career in law with a visit from an enthusiastic and very knowledgeable professional team from Harrison Clark Rickerbys. They were treated to five workshops during the course of the morning learning all about key areas followed by the chance to take part in a full mock trial in the afternoon. Students split into two teams and, with the advice and guidance of our guests, were able to present powerful arguments to the judge and confidently question the witnesses. It was a difficult decision but the claimant’s case was dismissed – a win for our team of defendants!

A huge thank you to Harrison Clark Rickerbys for such a wonderful opportunity. The students thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are so much more aware of the demanding and rewarding aspects of a career in law.
