King’s Under Thirteen County Cricket Victory

Congratulations to King’s U13 cricketers who won the County Cup last Thursday with a thrilling eight wicket win against Bromsgrove School. Bromsgrove hit one hundred and forty-seven for five in their twenty overs with Grieves-Hall scoring an impressive eighty-two not out. Despite good innings from King’s openers Joel Cox (thirty-nine) and Sam Hawes (twenty), King’s still needed nine runs an over with just four overs left. However, Cameron Jones and man of the match George Tomlinson (forty-nine not out) kept their nerve to see King’s home with seven balls to spare.
