On Saturday 1st December, the annual Christmas Fayre for Young Enterprise took place in College Hall. Amongst the nineteen stalls were three companies from King's. Financially it was a very successful day for all involved. Purple Cactus, selling metal straws, had to dip into reserved stock as their product sold so well. Mightea, selling a selection of ethically sourced teas and handmade Christmas cards, and Re-co, with their range of heat mats and tree decorations made from used corks, also made great sales. At the end of the day, the judges placed Mightea in first place and Re-co in third place, which bodes well for next term's competition and fayre on March 3rd on the High Street. Congratulations to all involved.
