Leadership Coaching for Upper Sixth
The Upper Sixth Monitors and Heads of House had, for the first time, their leadership training at the Fields. WiseUp hosted the ‘Hub Challenge’, with students in teams of eight to ten. Skills including leadership, communication, planning, motivation and compassion came to the fore.
Josh Hand, Head of Sixth Form: “I am really proud of the way in which the Monitors and Heads of House worked in a collaborative fashion. It was wonderful to see such maturity displayed throughout the activities – and always with a smile on their faces.
“This is a group of students who are the senior student leaders in the school, a body that younger students truly look up to, and today you could really see why: positivity, thoughtfulness, laughter and warmth were at the core of the entire session. I am excited to see their leadership skills grow throughout their final year at school, and know that they will set an outstanding example to the entire student body and beyond.”
Olivia Howard, Head of School: “It was a rewarding experience. The leadership and team-building exercises meant we all got to know each other better in an exciting and engaging way. I found the afternoon a refreshing way to learn skills I know I will use in the future.”
