Library Delivers Festive Fun and Chocolate Cheer
In the weeks leading up to Christmas, the King’s library has been a hive of activity as pupils have taken part in ‘10 Days of Christmas in the Library’ events and activities each day, with Friday seeing the grande finale!
Each time a pupil completed an activity they received a raffle ticket – in total, over 400 tickets were earned, showing how many of the pupils had taken part!
The last day of term marked the culmination of the festivities, as a huge crowd of pupils came to the library, early waiting to hear who would win the chocolate prizes.
Mr Charles did the honours of drawing the raffle and first out of the tin was Fausto, U4, who was a very deserving and thrilled winner, before more chocolate was awarded and more fun had by all!
Everyone has also taken the opportunity to stock up on festive and winter reads; all overseen by Paddington in his Santa coat by his festive fireside display.
Everyone in the library wishes all our pupils and families a delightful Christmas!
