Lower Sixth Gold Duke of Edinburgh Practice Expedition in Snowdonia

Twenty-five members of the Lower Sixth successfully completed a challenging practice expedition in Snowdonia over the Easter break. Almost all weather conditions were experienced in the four days away, rigorously testing most pieces of kit. In addition to three days of backpacking, each group had an exciting mountain day that involved either a scramble up Tryfan or Moel Siabod. Everyone rose to the challenge and can now confidently look forward to their qualifying expedition in August.
