Lower Sixth Induction Day: A Brilliant Start to Sixth Form Life
We were thrilled to welcome our new Lower Sixth students for an exciting Induction Day.
The morning began with an assembly led by our new Head, Mr Charles, alongside Mr Hand, setting the tone for a year. Students were then introduced to Unifrog, a powerful platform to support their future pathways and aspirations.
After a busy morning, everyone enjoyed a BBQ lunch. The afternoon brought the House groups together for a lively session of team-building activities, brilliantly organised and run by our newly appointed House Prefects. Not even the heavy rain showers could dampen the event!
A Lower Sixth student said: “Joining a new school is always daunting, but the Lower Sixth Induction Day was not only an excellent way for me to introduce myself to my peers and make new friendships but also an amazing day full of fun activities and diving head first into the House system, developing House spirit. From games of Jenga and football to running in the rain, the energy and enthusiasm never faltered. I must admit, I was extremely nervous to begin this new chapter but I now feel confident that King’s is the perfect place to spend these next two years.”
