This was the Lower Removes’ first experience of regattas and provided an exciting introduction. The Lower Remove boys’ quads did well. The A quad of Andrew Smithson, Freddie Allan, Gabriel Tilbury and Jamie Kemp, coxed by Mathew Daniels, managed to win two races, and the B quad of Rhys Watkins, Leo Rendall-Baker, Rhys Jones and Jack Barclay, coxed by Fin Watkins, managed to win one. The two Lower Remove girls’ quads also put in very solid efforts and gained good experience. The Upper Remove boys’ quad of Thomas Angell, Oliver Timlin, Archie Stephan and Thomas Holland, coxed by Ollie Bidwell did very well, winning the J15 Boys’ Quad. The Upper Remove girls’ quad of Amelia Bladon, Eszter Horvath, Amy Yorke Brooks, Olivia Campbell-Kerr and Megan Pitts won one of their races against strong competition. Congratulations to all who took part.
