Outstanding Results at First Competitive Biathlon

A group of eight L4th pupils took part in a biathlon in Much Wenlock on Wednesday 23rd October. This exciting multi-discipline event includes both swimming and running, culminating in a National Schools Championships.

The boys’ U12 team of Harry C, Henry H and Seth E came 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their event making them the winning team by over 1000 points. The girls’ U12 team of Frankie B, Jess D and Eve H came 1st, 4th and 9th in their event making them the winning team overall, whilst Dan A and Ben G came 4th and 5th in the boys’ U13 event.

These are outstanding results for their first competitive biathlon and means most of them have qualified for the National Schools finals. Watch this space for further updates.
