Remarkable Achievements in LAMDA Examinations

King’s pupils have achieved an exceptional set of results in their recent LAMDA examinations, held across multiple sessions last half-term. The four examiners were impressed with the quality of work on display, with 98% of candidates securing a Merit or Distinction and 59% achieving the coveted Distinction grade. These results reflect the dedication and talent of our pupils, who consistently uphold the school’s tradition of excellence in Speech and Stagecraft.

Among the top performers, Joe S (U6CL) and alumni Rosie B, Jess E, and Erika J were awarded Grade 8 Gold Medal Distinctions, a prestigious accolade in the LAMDA framework. Notable highlights also include George M (L6CL), who achieved a remarkable 95% in his Grade 7 Silver Medal Devising examination, and Izzy D (L6CA), who secured an extraordinary 98% in her Grade 7 Silver Medal Speaking in Public examination.

Reflecting on the results, Speech and Stagecraft Coordinator John Hollyhead said, “I am delighted with another set of outstanding examination results and with the commitment and hard work all candidates have shown throughout the period. I believe that, in each and every case, the results are just reward for their efforts.”
